FAITH TEAMS

Chair - Doreen Davis Fuhr (as Chair of the Deacons)

Faith Teams are groups who get together to pray and have fun doing the work of the church. These are Spirit-guided seasonal fellowship groups who do the service work required for the support of such things as: worship services, all-church gatherings, and seasonal events by committing to intentional relationship. Faith Teams are short-term seasonal commitments (approximately 3 months) for service in one of the following seasons: Advent & Christmas, Ashes & Resurrection, Pentecost & Revival, Retreat & Thanksgiving. All ages are welcome.

LOGOS - Wednesdays, 5:00 - 6:45 pm

LOGOS is our Wednesday afternoon program that fosters and nurtures relationships among our faith family. A program designed for all ages, it focuses around the creation of an atmosphere of Christian learning, sharing, worship and fun for children and teens. It includes four components: games and arts & crafts, worship skills and music, Bible study, and dinner. Participants include congregation members and guests from the surrounding communities. Adult involvement is critical to the success of this program and creates an atmosphere of community and fellowship. Opportunities exist for Bible study teachers, worship skills leaders, team leaders, cooks, kitchen helpers, table parents, clean-up crews, and assistants to various projects. We encourage adults who have no young children, as well as those who do, to get involved. Ideally, this is an all-church gathering, supporting and nurturing our relationships with one another as we learn and grow together, supporting the life of Christ's Church.
