Children & Teens

Logos - Wednesdays 4:30 pm -- 7:15 pm

Kick off Dinner and First Night of LOGOS - October 1st at 5:30 p.m.

Logos We participate in the Logos program for children and youth. This international ministry serves to nurture relationships between our young people, participating adults, and Christ. Most Wednesdays during the school year our youngsters experience age-appropriate Bible / Christian learning, recreation, worship/singing skills, and a family-style dinner with games and activities. The children grow up learning they are important to many adults, to each other, and to God. Logos is not limited to church members! For more info, call the church office at (949) 644-7400.

DSC01323SWhat is LOGOS?

  • LOGOS literally means "the Word" in Greek.
  • LOGOS is a ministry where adults, youth, and children learn to model Christ to each other in everything we do - where everyone is a child of God, and no one is treated as if they don't matter.
  • LOGOS is in more than 1500 churches and 20 denominations.
  • LOGOS is in 47 states and 4 different countries. (USA, Canada, Belarus, Russia)
  • LOGOS has more than 30,000 youth and children and 12,000 adults meeting every week.

And it's been happening for over 40 years!

What is the LOGOS Program?

LOGOS is a program which encourages relationship with one another and with Christ through recreational and worship activities, Bible study and a community meal.

DSC01322SAt LOGOS children are involved in consistent Christian experiences which precede Christian thought or theology.

LOGOS is a valuable tool for family and congregational involvement, as members and friends of the church are drawn into our faith community

Can my neighbor who is not a church member register their child?

Friends and visitors are always welcome.

My child wants to participate in the program but he/she does not attend Sunday School regularly.

Family scheduling conflicts are unavoidable but the LOGOS Program is intended to be an integral part of our children’s spiritual development. It is meant to be a bridge between Sundays. We encourage parents to support their child’s participation on Sundays as much as possible.

What if my child has food allergies or is on a special diet?

We are sensitive to children with special needs. Please contact the LOGOS Director through the church office at 949.644.7400.

What if I would like to occasionally join the group for the community meal?

Adults, parents, and school age children who do not participate in the program but would like to come for dinner are always welcome. Just call Leslie Kazarian (949.677.6664) the Monday prior to be sure we have enough food for you. We will collect $3.00 per meal from each visitor.
